In 2010, Marc Habbema and Max Cohen—life-long friends since high school—decided to quit their jobs in government and tech and go on an entrepreneurial adventure together. They started SOWISO as a spin-off from the Eindhoven University of Technology mathematics and computer science department.
Throughout the years, we have become a publisher with top-quality STEM content, developed an award-winning learning platform, and created OMPT, a leading online math admission test. Since 2022, we have joined forces with Paragin—a domain leader providing solutions for developing competencies, knowledge, and talent—to share knowledge and create better products. Now we are part of the Paragin group.
Our growing team gathers mathematicians, educational scientists, software developers, and customer-centred commercial specialists. We are driven by our passion for STEM education and empowering learners and teachers. Now we support +450,000 students, +400 teachers, and +60 institutions with improved STEM education worldwide.
